Artists from over 32 countries came together to produce the The Paper Quilt Project. A year long project these artists shared their lives, culture and art with each other. Founded by Dawbis, an artist & environmentalist with a lot of paper scraps lying around the house, this project was completed in December 2007. Dawbis hopes that the Paper Quilt Project will make a “difference in the , qworld, now matter how small or big.”

“Each month 12 new artists created a collage interpreting the project’s theme, ‘A Day in my Life,’ and gave us a glimpse into their world. Every collage from each month will soon be sewn together to create 12 amazing and unique individual paper quilts. And later each paper quilt will be auctioned off or donated to charity in order to raise money for a cause that matters most to the artists.”

Correspondence cards are the perfect way to send professional-looking communications to your business partners and associates. These cards are one-panel (not foldover) and allow you to jot down a quick hand-written message — much like sending an email. However, unlike an email a correspondence card that is personalized with you name will rise above your choice in cards will reflect your unique personality.
Correspondence cards are available from at most major stationers. Although, traditionally set on a white or ecruwhite stock, correspondence cards can now be found in almost any color. Personalize your correspondence cards with your name or monogram and choose the type style and ink color that match your personality. Finally you will have to determine the printing process to be used. Engraving is a highly skilled form of raised printing. The beauty of engraving lies in its three-dimensional quality. Thermography is also raised printing, but uses a different process. Thermography is also cheaper but a nice alternative to engraving when you are on a budget.
A 2004 Wall Street Journal article, Correspondence Course, declared Crane correspondence cards Best Overall. “There was a clear and classic choice: Crane’s, which has been making stationery since 1801.” The WSJ noted that the correspondence cards were produced on a thick heavy stock in a classic ecru-white color. Ms. Littky-Rubin one of the WSJ panelists immediately recognized the Crane product from the moment the card was brought out. “This will never go out of style,” she added.

Resume paper can speak volumes about you and can assist you in landing your next job. Make the right impression by using high-quality 100% cotton paper like Crane pearl white resume sheets. Personally I would stick with traditional colors like white or ecru (a beige color).
To stand out from the crowd you may want to mail your resume in a flat envelope instead of folding it and sending it in a traditional envelope. Additionally, a flat piece of paper is easier to handle and read. For best results print your resume using a laser printer. Inkjet printers tend to apply ink unevenly and have the tendency to smudge.
